Christmas Cookies Baking Tips and Tricks

Christmas cookies are one of the best parts of the holiday season and they can be so easy to make! Here are a few tips to ensure that you are making the best Christmas cookies!

  • Always use quality ingredients. Christmas cookies are a treat, once a year, so make sure that you splurge a little bit. Buy the best butter, the best chocolate and the best sprinkles!
  • Double your recipe to save time! Unless the recipe specifies it, all of the Christmas cookie recipes can be doubled, saving you the time and effort of making another batch! Make only one mess, and more cookies!
  • Freeze your Christmas cookies. Make the cookies ahead of time and freeze in a freezer safe sealed container for a few weeks. I do find that a few months in the freezer can be a bit too long, with freezer burn possible happening. A few weeks to a month is a safe bet! Make sure to freeze the cookies in layers, placing waxed paper or parchment paper between the layers to ensure that they won’t stick together.
