Karlynn’s Recipe Rundown: Strawberry Milkshake Cereal Bars

  • These cereal bars are so fast and easy to make! These are perfect for when you need to make a sweet treat at the last minute.
  • The bars are very sweet, due to the sweetened Frosted Flakes, so a small square is all that is needed to satisfy your sweet tooth!

Ingredient Tips You Need To Know

 strawberry milkshake cereal bar ingredients
  • Frosted Flakes: the strawberry milkshake version is the best flavored for these strawberry bars, but you can use plain ones if you want!
  • Butter: Salted butter is the best; you need salt to balance the sweetness.
  • Freeze-dried Strawberries: You can also use normal dried strawberries, and you can add another half cup to load these bars with strawberry flavor!
  • Marshmallows: As long as you have 400 grams, you can also use mini marshmallows.

Quick Recipe Summary: How to Make Strawberry Milkshake Cereal Bars

  1. Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan with butter.
  2. Pour the box of cereal and the dried strawberries into a greased bowl.
  3. Melt the butter in a pot.
  4. Melt the marshmallows into a smooth mixture.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. Pour the marshmallow mixture over the cereal and gently stir to coat evenly.
  7. Turn out the cereal mixture into the prepared pan. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit until it sets.

Storage Instructions

  • Store these bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
  • Do not refrigerate as they will harden.
  • How to freeze: After the bars have set, slice them and place them in a large freezer-safe container or freezer bag. Freeze them in your deep freezer for up to 3 months.
