- Monday – Oven-Fried Potato Chip Chicken
- Tuesday – Classic Homestyle Pork Stew
- Wednesday – Bourbon Chicken*
- Thursday– Osso Bucco (Braised Beef Shanks)
- Friday – Honey n’ Brown Sugar Bourbon Beef*
*You can substitute Bourbon with other whiskeys (avoid peaty Scotches). Quality tequila can work well, but has a different flavor profile, and Vodka is also an option, though it will result in a less flavorful dish.
Your Sunday Prep-Ahead Plan
- Veggie Prep: Chop onions, celery, and carrots ahead of time for the Pork Stew and osso bucco. Store in an airtight container until you are ready to use them.
- Prep The Breading: Crush the potato chips for Monday, and mix the spices and flour. Store separately in sealed bags.
- Burbon Sauce: Prep the honey, brown sugar, soy sauce and Worcestershire for Friday ahead of time.
P.S. Looking for lunch ideas?
The Pork Stew makes a great leftover dish; portion out your servings ahead of time. The Honey n’ Brown Sugar Bourbon Beef is a great choice for flavorful shredded meat for sandwiches.
Enjoy!
