Gooey, delicious cereal bars made with Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal and mini M&M’s! Perfect for picnics, parties, and camping!
Karlynn’s Recipe Rundown: S’Mores Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal Bars
- These are decadent, loaded cereal bars like my Oreo and Peanut Butter Cup Golden Graham Cereal Bars and my Rolo Cinnamon Toast Crunch Bars.
- These take mere minutes to make and are so easy!
- I first made these cereal bars in 2018, and it’s time for a photo update and new instructions.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal Bars
I usually walk the cereal aisle like a kid in the candy store when conjuring up new ideas. Cereal bars are just so darn summery, perfect for picnics and the ideal snack to make at home before camping. Cereal bars last for days, slice up easily, and are light to transport. No wonder we all love them so much!
Ingredient Tips You Need to Know
- Mini M&Ms are quite pricey, but you can use large M&Ms instead. Play around with the different flavors if you like!
- Make sure to use salted butter, it makes all the difference flavor-wise.
Storage Instructions
How to freeze: After the bars have set, slice them and place them in a large freezer-safe container or freezer bag. Freeze them in your deep freezer for up to 3 months.
Store these bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
Do not refrigerate as they will harden.
I hope you enjoy this new flavor for cereal bars! They are so chocolatey, gooey, and delicious, and the best part is that they take mere minutes to make! Let me know what you think in the comments below!

- ¾ cup M&M minis divided

The recipe ingredient list says “1/3 cup butter extra for greasing the pan”
In the Instructions … I must not be reading correctly as I see nowhere that you use the 1/3 cup butter …. only in step 1 it says butter the pan (which the way the ingredient liat stated butter, I took it to mean you need a little extra/more than 1/3 … with the extra amount being used to grease the pan).
I hope I was accurate in assuming that since it is a cereal bar (similar ingredients to Rice Krispie squares) – so, I melted the butter in the microwave along with the marshmallows. After that, followed the recipe instructions as printed.
I am taking these to our granddaughter’s Christmas bake sale tomorrow (if they turn out) – so I’m sorry that I couldn’t wait for your reply.
