Karlynn’s Recipe Rundown: Retro Strawberry Fluff
- The cottage cheese in this recipe is the original way to make the retro-style dessert fluff recipes. I love the texture, and the extra protein is great!
- This is best made the day before and refrigerated overnight. It sets better, and the flavors blend.
Ingredient Tips You Need To Know
- Cottage Cheese: You can use lower-fat cottage cheese if you want.
- Pie Filling: You can use homemade pie filling or light pie filling.
- Jello: You can use light or sugar-free gelatin.
- Whipped topping: You can use light or fat-free.
Quick Recipe Summary: How to Make Strawberry Fluff
- Combine the cottage cheese with the strawberry gelatin.
- Stir in the strawberry pie filling until it is combined into the mixture.
- Fold in the whipped topping.
- Cover and refrigerate for 3-4 hours until chilled thoroughly and set.
Storage Instructions
Refrigerate: Store any leftover strawberry fluff in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. The consistency might change, and the ingredients might separate, so stir to combine the ingredients again before serving.
Variation Suggestions
You can mix and match flavors for this fluff. The possibilities are endless as long as you like the flavors together. Try:
