  • Prep Your Rice Early: The rice fries up best (and avoids getting mushy) if you prepare it ahead of time and store it in the fridge for a couple of days.
  • Chop the Carrots: Chop and peel the carrots that are needed for Friday’s soup ahead of time so that dinner on Friday will be a breeze.
