This particular Valentine’s day cocktail is called the Scarlet Kiss and consists of Raspberry Vodka, Strawberry Vodka, Chambord and lemon lime soda and is a great cocktail for a Valentine’s day celebration with your loved one.
An Easy and Delicious Valentine’s Day Cocktail
With Valentine’s day quickly approaching, I thought I’d enlist the help of my sister, Angela, who was a bartender for several years, to come up with some delicious Valentine’s day cocktail ideas. As you can see, she didn’t disappoint!
Karlynn and I normally skip out on Valentine’s day ourselves because the anniversary of when we had our first date is February 11th. Instead, we celebrate a few days early which, thankfully, means we don’t have to fight a million other couples to get a restaurant reservation. This year, however, I think we’ll enjoy a couple of these on the 14th because look at it…
If you really want to get fancy, you can go as far as dipping the rim, which Angela did in this case, in a red sugar which can be purchased from most bakery aisles of the grocery store. Add a nice looking strawberry to the rim and you’ve got one heck of a beautiful drink.
You could even try dipping the strawberry in chocolate before adding it to the rim to make it even more romantic. It might get a little messy but it sounds like a good idea to me! Let me know if you try it and it works out. Another great cocktail to try for Valentine’s day is my Cupid’s Arrow.
