A Malibu and Pineapple cocktail is one of the simplest cocktails you can make, it’s a mix of two specific ingredients; Malibu and Pineapple Juice.
If you like this drink, try a Malibu and Coke or a Bay Breeze as well!
What is Malibu?
Malibu is a spirit that brings back memories for a lot of people. In my case, it reminds me of my older sister as it’s one of her favorite choices of mixes. The coconut smell also make me think of the beach, which is what I think they were going for. It is a Caribbean rum flavored with coconut and is relatively low in alcohol content in comparison to a typical rum.
How to Make a Malibu and Pineapple
To make this drink, you need the Malibu rum and a Pineapple Juice of your choice.
Simply combine these ingredients, using the measurements in the recipe card below, in a Boston Shaker with ice and shake until cold. Then, using a cocktail strainer, strain into a glass and add a piece of fresh pineapple as you garnish.
Serve and enjoy!
