If there is one cocktail that definitely screams Halloween (although enjoying it any time of the year is also totally fine!), it’s the Grateful Dead drink. This cocktail has the ability to definitely make you wish you were dead the next day if you drink too many.
Maybe it’s the fact that it comes with not one or two but FIVE different types of spirits in a single drink – making it rather potent (but also delicious).

What’s in a Grateful Dead drink?
Curious what’s in this cocktail? This powerful drink is comprised of the following spirits:
- Tequila
- Vodka
- White Rum
- Gin
- Raspberry Chambord
It should, therefore, be enjoyed in moderation given the quantity within the drink. It’s certainly a delicious cocktail but if you plan to enjoy more than one, perhaps scale back the quantities a bit to ensure you don’t suffer as much the next day.
How to Make a Grateful Dead drink
To prepare, start by filling a glass with a few ice cubes. Now, in a Boston Shaker, combine the tequila, vodka, white rum, gin and raspberry chambord with ice and shake until cold. Strain into the aforementioned glass and garnish with a lime slice.

Serve and / or enjoy responsibly!
