Flapper Pie & a Blue Prairie Sky Cookbook Celebration Giveaway Flyer

It shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone that is a reader of The Kitchen Magpie that I have been planning this giveaway since I landed my book deal.

Because I got to shop, you guys and it wasn’t for me. That’s a selfless act, right? Shopping for you guys? I am sooo giving and thinking of others. Saint Karlynn, even.

Back to real life know, when it came time to start thinking about the giveaway,I knew a few things for sure.

  • It would have a vintage theme
  • It would involve the products made for the 100th anniversary of Pyrex in 2015. I knew this because I bought ten boxes of the measuring cup sets. I’m psychic like that.
  • It would be one of the biggest giveaways that I have ever done here on the Kitchen Magpie
  • I would have a hard time waiting for October 25th, 2016. The official launch date of my first cookbook, Flapper Pie & a Blue Prairie Sky.

And that’s TODAY!!!

OH MAH GAWD YOU GUYS MY BOOK IS OUT!!!! EEEEEK!

Right HERE. Click that link right there to go and see/buy my book on Amazon.

complete set of Pyrex Butterfly Gold Mixing Bowls

See those gorgeous bowls right up there? Those are a complete set of Pyrex Butterfly Gold Mixing Bowls from the 1970’s. The largest bottom bowl is a little harder to find than the other three, but I found the entire set of four this summer in Wisconsin and tucked it away for this giveaway. Which hurt, because this is one of my favourite patterns since my Mom used these in the 70’s when I was a kid. Oh the memories of this Pyrex pattern!!!  I don’t have this set as it’s the only one I’ve found with the bottom bowl. But again, Saint Karlynn, right? Those are part of the Grand Prize.

Let’s not forget a copy of my book and I’m also adding in a set of the limited edition 100th anniversary of Pyrex measuring cups that came out last year.

Now, that’s just the GRAND PRIZE.

I also have NINE MORE SETS of my book and the 100th Anniversary Pyrex measuring cups set. NINE more chances for you to win!

You guys, it’s my way of saying thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my Flapper Pie lovin’ heart. Thanks to all of you that are loyal readers of the blog, thank you to everyone that pre-ordered my cookbook. All of you that bought my book on QVC ( oh yes, you American readers have been just as amazing as my Canadian ones with your love and support!) So saying that, I am opening this contest up to residents of Canada AND the USA!! By the way, this post isn’t sponsored or have anything to do with Pyrex, just the fact that I love it and bought it all for you.

Good luck you guys! I love you more than chocolate!

Karlynn

Such a hard decision! My favourite desserts would probably be carrot cake with cream cheese icing, or sex in a pan!

I am so sure my Mom has the pattern too but in a red style one. Which year is that one from I wonder? Anyways, my favourite dessert is anything made with butter – like croissants! Though, I’m pretty biased about macarons being my favourite dessert too! :)
