The American Fizz is an excellent Gin and brandy-based cocktail that tastes amazing and goes beautifully with dinner. It’s an excellent combination of sweet and sour flavors in a cocktail that you are sure to love.
It’s also a great way to make use of these stunning glasses from my home barware collection. I love the little vintage 1920s automotive motif and we found these during one of our many thrifting outings.
How to Make an American Fizz
- Combine 1 ounce of gin, 1 ounce of brandy, 1 tbsp of lemon juice, and 1 tsp grenadine with ice in a glass and give it a stir.
- Garnish with some maraschino cherries and you are on your way to a stunningly photogenic cocktail.
We originally made this for Thanksgiving but it’s amazing for any time really. As long as you love lemony cherry-flavored cocktails!
