Merry Christmas from our household to yours! I hope you are all having a fabulous day, full of friends and family. Or maybe even a nice quiet day curled up by the Christmas tree by yourself, or hey, just a good book and a glass of wine. Christmas is what you make of it!

This year we have bought a gift from all of you readers. Mike and I consider ourselves incredibly blessed to do what we do and it’s thanks to all of you that we get to do it!

However not everyone is so lucky and while I get to make all these delicious new recipes for everyone almost daily, there are people going without food and the basics right in my own neighborhood I am sure, and everywhere in Edmonton.

With that said, You, the Readers of The Kitchen Magpie, are now sponsoring TWO families of 5-7 people every month through the Edmonton Food Bank thanks to your readership and loyalty. This is something that Mike and I have been wanting to do forever now, and it’s thanks to you that we get to pass along our blessings to others and help with the issues surrounding food security in our own city.

With that said, if you block the ads on this site, maybe unblock them. If they make you impatient not only can you use the Jump to Recipe button that I put at the top, but maybe stop and give the post a scroll, read it and view the ads. I KNOW they are annoying, but they are a necessary evil (I still have to buy the food for all the free recipes on here and pay for a kitchen and a roof over my head!) and now those ads are going to help out others. It makes the ads a little easier to put up with 😉

    Hi,merry christmas to you and your family.I would like to try and make an egg souffle and I was wondering if you have any recipes on how to make an awesome no mushroom low sodium low or no sugar added souffle that is lactose frr and great tasting meal in a four to six ramakin cups?
