Cajun Shrimp
These shrimp are seasoned with homemade Cajun seasoning, then pan-fried in butter to delicious perfection! Great for dinner or an appetizer.

Ingredients

pound
large shrimp
peeled, deveined, rinsed and patted dry

tablespoons
olive oil
1
tablespoon
Cajun seasoning
1
tablespoon
lemon juice
1
tablespoon
minced garlic
2
tablespoons
butter
Instructions
In a small bowl combine the olive oil, Cajun seasoning and lemon juice until it forms a paste.
Rub the paste onto the shrimp, coating them evenly.
Place the butter into a medium skillet over medium high heat.
Melt the butter then sauté the garlic until browned and fragrant.
Place the shrimp into the skillet in a single layer.
Cook for 4-5 minutes until the shrimp are opaque and cooked completely.
Don't over cook them, they will be rubbery.
Notes
This recipe works with any type of shrimp, but we love to use jumbo shrimp for a treat!
