Boiled Green Beans with Garlic Butter
Simple yet delicious boiled green beans are tossed in melted butter and sprinkled with garlic powder for a fast and healthy vegetable side dish.

Ingredients

green beans

cups
water

tablespoons
salt

tablespoons
butter
1
teaspoon
garlic powder
Instructions
Wash the green beans under cool, running water.
Add the water and salt to a large stock pot and bring to a boil.
Add the green beans and boil for 4 to 6 minutes until tender firm.
Drain the beans into a colander. Leave the beans draining in the colander and return the stockpot to the stove.
In the bottom of the stockpot add in the butter and garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes over medium-high heat.
Remove from the stove and add the green beans to the garlic butter mixture and swirl around the pot to coat the beans with the butter mixture.
Season with salt and pepper and serve.
