Sock it to Me Cake, a great 1970's classic cake that was a big hit with our Moms. It's so easy and delicious, it's time to start making it again!
Pour 1/2 of the batter into the prepared pan.
Bake at 375°F for 45 to 55 minutes or until a cake tester or toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 25 minutes then invert onto a baking rack to cool completely.
I used a butter pecan cake mix and it was AMAZING in this cake. You can use whatever flavour you like, but the classic cake mix is a golden or yellow cake mix.
