Making your own Italian pork sausage at home is so easy to do! This is not cased pork sausages, this is for making pork sausage crumbles that you can use in casseroles, topping pizza and more!
Place the ground pork in a medium size mixing bowl and add the Italian seasoning and the salt.
Mix until the seasonings are incorporated throughout the pork.
Place the meat in a closed container and refrigerate for at least an hour before using. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days before using.
To freeze, portion out if needed - I like to do half pound portions - and freeze flat in freezer safe bags for up to three months.
