Chocolate Fudge Frosting
Fudge frosting that hardens into a crackled fudge topping on your cakes that melts in your mouth. This is traditionally used on sheet cakes.

Ingredients
1/2
cup
salted butter

tablespoons
unsweetened cocoa

tablespoons
whole milk
2 1/2
cups
powdered sugar
1
teaspoon
vanilla
Instructions
In a medium saucepan, heat the butter, cocoa, and milk until the mixture boils.
Remove from the heat. Beat in the powdered sugar and vanilla with a whisk until the icing is smooth.
Pour the frosting over the warm cake/cupcakes.
Let the icing set and the cake cool completely before slicing.
Notes
This will frost a 9x13 or 10x15 cake perfectly. It will of course be thicker on the 9x13 cake.
