Pulled Pork Sandwiches
Incredibly easy 3 ingredient pulled pork that is made into pulled pork sandwiches by adding in toasted buns and a fast homemade coleslaw!

Ingredients
Pulled Pork

3 lb
pork shoulder or pork butt roast strings removed
12
ounces
root beer
one
18 ounce bottle
barbecue sauce
your favorite
Coleslaw

cups
bagged coleslaw mix
1/4
cup
mayonnaise
2
teaspoons
yellow mustard
more to taste

teaspoons
white vinegar or apple cider vinegar
more to taste
1/2
teaspoon
white sugar
more to taste
1/4
teaspoon
celery seed
1/4
teaspoon
salt
1/8
teaspoon
black pepper
8
hamburger or kaiser buns
split in half
Instructions
Place the pork roast in a slow cooker. Pour the root beer over top and cook, covered, on low until meat is tender, around 8-10 hours.
Remove the roast and cool slightly.
Discard the roast cooking juices.
Shred the pork with two forks and then return to the slow cooker.
Stir in your favorite barbecue sauce.
Cover and heat again until heated through, about 30 minutes.
Prepare the coleslaw by mixing together the ingredients.
Lightly toast the buns, then place on a plate.
Take a scoop of the hot pulled pork and place on each bun bottom, top with coleslaw, then place the top of the bun on top.
Enjoy!
Notes
You can double the coleslaw recipe and make side salads as well!
Make this the day before and reheat. This will last in the fridge for 2-3 days in a sealed container.
