Check to see the max # of wings you can make at one time in your deep fryer. Our is around 30 so 24 is safe but yours may vary.
Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a pyrex dish or bowl in the microwave (about 30 seconds).
Add 4 tablespoons of Frank's Red Hot sauce to the butter and stir well. Set aside.
Place 24 chicken wings in the deep fryer and cook for 10-13 minutes (depending on how crispy you want them), stir them once or twice to prevent sticking.
Once they are done to your liking, drain them on paper towels and place into a bowl. Pour the hot sauce / butter mixture on top and toss the wings until covered completely.
Serve.
Do NOT eat right away. Let them sit for 1-2 minutes before chowing down. This lets the mixture soak in and "set" and you'll appreciate that the wings soak up a lot of the mixture and are less messy after 1-2 minutes of resting.
Notes
You can play with the quantities if you like. For milder wings, cut out 1 tablespoon of hot sauce, and so on.
