Classic Wedge Salad
The classic wedge salad topped with tomatoes, bacon, croutons, blue cheese and homemade blue cheese dressing.

Ingredients

head iceberg lettuce
4
slices
bacon cooked & crumbled
1
cup
diced and drained tomatoes
1- 2
tablespoons
finely diced green onions or chives
4
tablespoons
blue cheese crumbles

servings
croutons

cup
blue cheese dressing
Instructions
Prepare the lettuce. Remove and outside layers that are dirty or wilted until you reach the nice inner leaves.
Cut the lettuce in half from the stem to the top.
Cut those halves into wedges again, resulting in 4 wedges.
Remove the stem part at the bottom of the wedge, trying to keep the wedge as intact as you can.
Place each of the wedges on a serving plate.
Top with the bacon, tomatoes, green onions blue cheese crumbles, croutons and then the blue cheese dressing.
Serve.
