2poundsbeef sirloin steakscut into bite sized cubes, fat trimmed, pierced with a fork
5-6spears fresh pineapplecut into one inch chunks
1largeorange bell peppercut into large chunks
1largered bell peppercut into large chunks
1largewhite onioncut into chunks
Instructions
Whisk together the beef marinade ingredients until combined. Place the beef cubes into a large Ziploc bag or a plastic container with a lid.
Remove 1/4 cup of the marinade and set aside in a container for basting later while BBQ-ing, and pour the remaining marinade into the bag with the beef.
Refrigerate overnight for the tastiest results.
When you are ready to cook, drain the beef from the marinade. Preheat your BBQ to medium-high heat. If your BBQ grate tends to stick, grease it accordingly.
Thread the beef, pineapple, bell peppers and onion onto the skewers.
Place the skewers on the preheated grill, turning frequently until nicely browned on all sides.
The beef can be cooked until medium-rare, and the vegetables until tender crisp.
Remove and serve. The skewers will be HOT!
Notes
Top with chopped cilantro if desired, I love cilantro on everything!
Nutrition on this is very innaccurate as it doesn't take into consideration how much marinade remains on the beef
