Instructions
Crispy Edges Garlic Bread Method
Preheat your oven to 400 °F.
In a small bowl, combine the butter, the garlic and the dried parsley.
Taking a pastry brush, coat the cut sides of the French loaf and then place on a large baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, checking the top of the bread every few minutes. When the top of the slices are browned nicely, remove from the oven.
Slice once cool enough to touch.
Serve immediately.
Softer Garlic Bread Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400 °F.
In a small bowl, combine the butter, the garlic and the dried parsley.
Taking a pastry brush, coat the cut sides of the French loaf. Place the two piece together, butter side in, then wrap in tinfoil, and then place on a large baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes to heat the bread. Once hot and steamy (check by carefully peeking into the tinfoil wrapped bread) remove from the oven.
Notes
The key for softer garlic bread is wrapping it in tinfoil. The other way gives you nice crispy, buttery edges and is my favorite!
