Gather your ingredients
You need a chuck roast, ranch dressing mix, beef broth, olive oil, gravy mix, au jus mix, pepperoncini juice, pepperoncini peppers and butter.

Sear the roast
Use the instant pot to sear the roast in the olive oil on both sides.

Remove roast and deglaze
Remove the roast, pour in the beef broth and deglaze the Instant Pot, scraping the brown bits off the bottom to prevent burning.

Place roast back in
Place the roast back in the pot.

Add powdered mixes
Add the gravy packets and ranch dressing mix over the roast.

Add peppers to taste
Add as few or as many pepperoncini peppers as you wish.

Add pepperoncini juice
Now pour the pepperoncini juice over the roast.

Close the lid and cook
Close the lid and start your Instant Pot (see our recipe card for temperature and times)

Remove and serve
Remove the roast, serve shredded with the gravy and peppers poured over top.
