The Irish Sour – The Perfect St. Patrick’s Day Cocktail!

As I mentioned, this is a super simple recipe. To make this recipe, you only need to have a bottle of Jameson Irish Whiskey, McGuinness Melon and a bit of club soda. I also recommend a slice of lime for garnish and some ice. Want some other great St. Patrick’s Day Cocktails?

Who was St. Patrick and why do we celebrate?

St. Patrick was one of the most well known patron saints of Ireland who is most known for ministering Christianity in Ireland around the fifth century. The day, March 17th, is typically associated with the date of his death. The purpose of the day is to celebrate Irish culture around the world.

Look how beautiful this looks in my vintage roly poly. Now, the recipe calls for a 2:1 ratio but you can easily scale it up if you want to put it into a larger glass.. just add a bit more club soda.
