Peanut Butter & Jelly French Toast

I want to start this post out by saying I thought this Peanut Butter & Jelly French Toast was going to be really, really gross. Like, REALLY gross. (Honestly, when’s the last time you saw a food blogger post that? I should be ashamed of myself. Sigh.) Don’t tell Mike this, but , um, I was totally wrong. I can’t believe I just admitted that, but it’s true.

This was seriously freakin’ delicious. Why I doubted it, I have no idea.  I love French Toast, I love peanut butter and jam and um duh, I love syrup.

Together?

Holy. Dinah.

De-freakin-licious!

Is that a word? I think I might have to check the Urban Dictionary after I’m done here.

So. De-freakin-licious aside, this is also going to thrill your kids for breakfast. My sons eye’s grew as large as saucers, I swear to God, and he started drooling right then and there when I told him.

Is this a precursor to teenhood? Boys start salivating over the thought of food?

We’ll talk about salivating over girls another time, I’m not quite ready for that yet.  or ever. This is my new favorite way to eat French Toast and since we consider French Toast a junky breakfast in our house I may as well make it as delicious as I want when we actually eat it.

Just lookit that beauty.

Syrup drizzled on top Peanut Butter & Jelly French Toast in a white plate

I wanted to get this post up quickly for all of you because this is the absolute perfect back to school breakfast!

Oh, yes.

Send your kids back to school with a tummy full of sugar and tell the teachers that it’s all my fault. I’ll take the hit, no worries.

The other great part? This is just as easy as making French toast. I mean, you add a step, we can all do this, right? One more step?

I know, I know. I ask a lot of you. Can you trust me that it’s worth it? Can you trust me that it’s seriously delicious? You shouldn’t trust me, I’m evil.

This would be my Back To School post, even though we are technically not back to school, but we are sure starting our homeschooling come Tuesday morning! I have my wine glass ready and a fridge full of wine!

I totally don’t believe in Dry Homeschooling, if there’s even such as thing. Phhft. How am I supposed to stay sober sane?

Hope you are all having a fabulous weekend! What have you been up to? I certainly hope that your weekend  involves wine and not back to school shopping.

Love you more than chocolate,

Karlynn
