Oreo Chocolate Pudding Cookies in White plate on Blue Tablecloth

As I sit here at Breakfast Television, in the studio, writing this up as I pretend I know what I am talking about as a guest blogger for Breakfast Television Edmonton’s Blogger Week, I’m thinking two things.

One – How fast can I type up three recipes?

Two – I should have put Bailey’s in my coffee.

Today I am live blogging from the Breakfast Television studios as part of their fabulous Blogger Week. I participated last year as well and this year I wanted to make it all about food and recipes.

Of course you, my readers, inspired my chosen recipes.

Today’s show was all about Cheating in the Kitchen.

Tips, tricks and little sneak cheats to make our baking lives easier. We are all busy and on the run, so these types of recipes are what you are always asking me for.

Fast, easy and fantastic.

Three pieces of Oreo Chocolate Pudding Cookies in a White Plate

Here’s a little peek at what it looks like when you cook on TV. The camera is right there staring you down. I’m happy to say that I finally don’t get any jitters anymore.

Probably because there’s very little I can do to make a fool out of myself that I haven’t already done 😉

These Oreo cookies have two cheats in them.

I use a chocolate pudding mix to make them gorgeously chewy, fudgey and mind blowing in flavor.

I also wanted to use Oreo’s because darn it, I love Oreo’s so if we are going to cheat, let’s make it worthwhile and cheat with the best.

The dough is going to be a little bit dry, but don’t worry, they will bake up all lovely and chewy!

These are the devil in a cookie form, seriously. They are too good. They are evil. You will snack on them until you are filled with regret and then freeze them.

And then you will realize that these cookies are even better frozen.

Not that I would know from experience.  Ahem.

I will be posting links to the various video segments from this morning as soon as they are online, so watch for them!

Love you more than chocolate,

Karlynn

I would love to make the oreo cookies, I just need a little advice… the instant chocolate pudding, is this one where you just add milk and beat until fluffy (so no boil) or is it the actual pudding powder you would use when cooking pudding on the Stove? Im german so Im not familiar with the difference. Love your receipes <3
