Make Your Moments Golden : Ferrero Rocher Giveaway!

***CONTEST CLOSED! CONGRATS JONNIE HARTLING!********

I get contacted about a lot of giveaways here on the Kitchen Magpie and lucky for you my readers, most of them fit my requirements. Which I must say, aren’t stringent because the main two I stick to is Do I personally use/enjoy/like this product OR can I do good with this product i.e. Food Bank donations?  That’s it. That’s the best way to stay true to oneself when writing.

So it was a no-brainer when I was contacted about hosting a giveaway for Ferrero Rocher. I immediately said yes.

OUR LATEST VIDEOS

I eat these every….single….Christmas.  I usually buy myself a small 3 pack at the grocery store and indulge. I am a sucker for anything with hazelnut and chocolate in it.

I have had a soft spot for these since childhood. When they first came out in the early 1980’s, a few precious Ferrero Rocher soon found their way into my Christmas stocking as a child. Thank you Santa!

I remember thinking as a child how beautiful they were, how special these chocolates must be, to be wrapped so lovingly in a golden foil package. Then tasting it and wondering how that darn hazelnut got into the middle? How did they create these? The outside shell was so delicate, how did they get the creamy filling in as well?

I was meant to be a baker, I tell you. Even as a kid I was trying to figure out how to concoct tasty creations.

So I have (1) 200g box of Ferrero Rocher to give away today to one of my lucky readers.

This contest is open to Canadian residents only.

Ferrero Rocher is also holding a huge contest of their own:

Find a PIN in specially marked Ferrero Rocher 200 gram chocolates and you could instantly win over $500,000 in prizes including 1 of 10 Mercedes-Benz All-New 2013 B-Class Vehicles or a Ferrero Rocher Holiday Hosting gift basket.  PINs can be redeemed on the Ferrero Rocher Canada Facebook Page.

How do you win?

I like to give everyone many opportunities to win since not everyone is on Facebook or Twitter. So you get one entry just for being here on my site. All you need to do is tell me if you ever got these in your Christmas stocking as a kid too, and you are entered to win!

Each item you do from the list below will get you ONE more chance to win (for a total of 4 chances).  So make sure to comment for each item!

You have to leave each entry as a separate comment or only one comment will count!

Please make sure I am able to contact you via email, Twitter or Facebook to let you know if you’ve won!

1. Follow @KitchenMagpie on Twitter and then tweet the following statement then come back to this post and tell me you tweeted. “I just entered to win a Fererro Rocher gift from @kitchenmagpie, enter here http://bit.ly/Qb9UgL

I also got one every year in my stocking! And, for my birthdays, easter, and one week of every month I dedicate to eating so many that I might actually get sick of them (on second thought, I don’t think I could get sick of them..) I definately think I’m a sucker for anything with hazelnut and chocolate, too. Thanks for sharing. I’m going to go get some now… & I shared you page with my fb friends too.. 😉

Oh wow no…never got one of these in my stocking. Granted, my parents didn’t know about stockings until I was much older. But my mom used to buy a couple boxes each holiday season just for us to eat…and a few others to give to our teachers. Yum! They’re still one of my favourite chocolates.
