I’m going to let you in on a little secret.

We are really, really late on the Keurig® happy bandwagon in our house. Oh, Mike has wanted one forever and actually used to have one at his work, so that kept him happy enough. However, Mike works at home now, so we both drink all of our coffee and tea at home.

When the opportunity came up to test out the new Kraft Keurig®* Compatible Pods, I knew that I had a chance to be Super Wife. I told him that we were finally buying a Keurig.

When my gorgeous gift package filled with the new Kraft Keurig®* Compatible pods arrived, we couldn’t wait to try all the new flavors!

Should we start with the Gevalia Keurig®* Compatible Pods? Coffee done the Swedish way, rich, never bitter and a gorgeous full bodied cup just waiting to be savoured? This coffee comes in the choices of a Dark House Blend or a Dark Italian Roast.

Perhaps I should try the new Maxwell House Keurig®* Compatible Pods. They are, after all, Canada’s #1 home brewed cup of can-do, the celebration of those who take pride in what they do. Can you believe that 7 million cups a day of Maxwell House are brewed? Isn’t that amazing?! Each of the Maxwell House single serve pods contains 100% Arabica coffee and is wrapped to seal in the freshness. With Dark Roast, House Blend and Decaf flavors, you can enjoy your cup of Joe any way you like!

Our third choice was the Nabob Keurig®* Compatible Pods. Nabob makes authentic, crafted coffees accessible and affordable and in every cup you can taste the delicious difference of over 115 years of coffee expertise and passion.

I chose the Maxwell House Keurig®* Compatible Pods in the Dark Roast blend. I love a good, strong dark coffee and I knew that this one would be perfect.

Being used to the full on plastic cups, I was surprised and happy to find that the Maxwell House Keurig®* Compatible Pods are mainly filter instead of plastic! Look at how cool these are!

The Maxwell House Keurig®* Compatible Pods made a dark, aromatic and delicious cup of coffee. I think the reason that I like such dark coffees is that I need the bold flavor to combat the large amounts of honey and cream that I like to put in my coffee.

Here’s me and my coffee. I had just finished my stint on Breakfast Television, had been up since 4:30 am and was needing a hot coffee for a reboot! The best part of using Kraft Keurig®* Compatible Pods is that you don’t waste a large pot of coffee. With two people in the house who enjoy completely different things when it comes to hot drinks in the morning, this is a big bonus. I make what I want, when I want and there’s no waste!

I also might have stolen Mike’s favorite mug for my coffee.
