Close up Cheese Stuffed Garlic Knots on jade blue background

CARB HEAVEN!!! These cheese-stuffed garlic knots are so easy because they are made with canned biscuit dough – and are so darn carbo-licious that you can’t even imagine until you try one. And if there is one thing that I love to add to carbs, it’s CHEESE! Yesssssss.

How to Make Garlic Knots

  • Pop open the can and roll out each biscuit into a log around 6 inches long.
  • Slice each cheese string into 4 pieces.
  • Flatten each biscuit roll so that you can place the cheese into it. Stretch the biscuit around the cheese, sealing completely.
  • Combine the sauce ingredients in a bowl.
  • Dredge each biscuit roll through the butter mixture, then tie it into a knot, tucking the ends beneath the roll and pinching them together. Place on parchment lined cookie sheet pinched side down. Repeat until all are done. (see the video for how to tie them in knots!)
  • Brush the rolls with the leftover butter mixture.
  • Bake in a 400-degree oven for 8-10 minutes, until browned and baked completely.
  • Remove, cool slightly, and eat!

Mike couldn’t stop snacking on these. They are like crack. Carbs and cheese and garlic? ( because garlic knots, so we need garlic in there) Yes, yes, yes! This is probably a combination of all of my favorite things in a baked good and an easy one at that! Sometimes, canned biscuit dough is an amazing thing.

Tips and Tricks for Making Garlic Knots

  • It’s totally fine if the cheese starts melting through the garlic knots. Oh my word, is it ever ok! Look at that cheesy goodness!
  • Make sure to get the brand of cheese strings that bend well, some are rock-hard. You need the ones that are bendy.
  • Use up the rest of the butter mixture at the end by brushing it over the garlic knots. Super yum!
  • Watch the video to see how to tie the knots. And watch for a non-garlic knot video and recipe coming up soon. SWEETNESS = hint hint!

Happy Baking babes!

Love,

Karlynn
