Disney Wonder Stateroom Review and Walkthrough: Cabin 6083

It’s time for another Disney Wonder Stateroom review!

While on our Disney Cruise my sister stayed in another stateroom down the hall from us. Her room is called a standard inside stateroom, meaning that there are no portholes to the outside or a verandah, it’s completely indoors. These rooms are a great deal price-wise on the ship if you are a person who doesn’t mind a closed up room on a ship.

My sister assured me that it isn’t as dark as a tomb when the lights are all off, some light does come through the room’s door from the hallway, which means it’s a good thing that the bed has curtains that can be drawn when you are going to sleep if you are the type of person who can’t stand any light while sleeping.

Stateroom 6083 on the Disney Wonder was in good shape, had a comfortable queen bed and sleeps three, with the pull out sofa couch. Instead of the split bathroom that we had in our stateroom it has a single tub/toilet/sink combo.

Everything was as clean as a whistle and well maintained, as the Disney Wonder is coming on 14 years old, let’s remember! Everything still seems to be well taken care of and spotless.

There were, of course, my favorite toiletries to hoard as well.

While my top photo shows you the view from the door, this one shows you the view from the bed. The couch and TV are on this side along with plenty of storage. A person could unpack for an even longer cruise and still have tons of storage room left.

I might need to test that out in person. Soon.

I am dying to find all the adorable Pirates of the Caribbean prints that were in all of the staterooms. I couldn’t pick a favorite, I want them all they were so cute!

 This is a view of what the hallways are like on the stateroom decks of the ship. One side is the inner staterooms like this one and the other side are the outside staterooms, like Mike and I had.

 In all honesty, these rooms are a steal. I really wish that I didn’t get slightly claustrophobic and was able to cruise in one of them because they are a much lower price. The room was still beautiful, received the same level of care from the room host as the other rooms did and was still roomy enough for my sister and two kids.

I would upgrade a wee bit to a deluxe inside stateroom that has the split bath, which I found the most invaluable part of our outside stateroom, but I suspect those rooms are in high demand!

Everything in this cabin worked and it comes with phone,hair box, safe, tv, couch, desk, chair, privacy curtain and more. It was clean, well taken care of and the mattress was really comfortable. The only thing that was wonky was that the room kept receiving a 6:45 wake-up call from Mickey and no matter how many times my sister asked guest services for it to be removed, it rang every morning at 6:45 except the last day! My sister wasn’t really happy to hear from Mickey every morning at 6:45, as you can guess.Other than that, the room was an overall pleasant experience for her.

This room is also located more midship and was MUCH better when it came to lack of movement when the seas were rougher! You could feel waves in our room massively, then you would walk into hers and barely feel any movement! That is another advantage to the inner rooms as well, less movement on wavy seas.
