Packs of Roasted Veggie Chips,  Zesty Cheddar and Multigrain Sweet Potato with Sea Salt flavors of Green Giant

I had all sorts of pictures planned out for this post, announcing that Green Giant has two new flavours of Roasted Veggie Chips,  Zesty Cheddar and Multigrain Sweet Potato with Sea Salt.

Then I went to my pantry only to discover that I had one bag out of eight left.

ONE BAG.

I suppose it’s a testament to how tasty these new chips are that my children – and let’s not forget my husband- ate up all these chips in a matter of, oh, ten days? Sure, I can account for two bags of these for a splash park day. We always need to take snacks with us as my children act like they’ve never been fed before when I take them into any public place. I peeked in the pantry and grabbed one of each flavor to be taste-tested by children and mothers alike at the park.

The results were a resounding “like” from the kids we met that day as well as the adults. The Sweet Potato scored higher on the Mom scale, having fewer ingredients and those that are in them made us all happy.

The cheese ones were the only bag that was left in my pantry and I did taste test them, until I read the ingredients and saw that  broccoli was part of them. What kind of food blogger is allergic to broccoli? Only me, I tell you.

That said, you can imagine that they have packed quite the veggie punch into these cheesy bites of goodness since there is broccoli in them!

My big news is that I am sending my parents off to Florence for their 30th anniversary. They haven’t been on a real vacation by themselves since before I was born, so I am thrilled to be able to surprise them with this trip.
