If someone gave ME a $50 gift card to the Italian Centre here in Edmonton, I would be ecstatic.
The I would run straight to their amazing deli.
When it came time to pick where I was going to spend some of the ad revenue I generate on supporting a local business, I knew that this year it would be the Italian Centre. The stores are family-run, community oriented and promote local food like nobodies business. The lovely Teresa Spinelli who heads up the stores can always be found supporting one community event or another, indeed for the Culinary Arts Cook Off she provided enough cookies for the entire crowd that came (we’re talking hundreds here!) and dried pasta for the children to make amazing pasta art with. I still have my daughters pasta art tucked away from that day.
So two of you very lucky readers are going to each win a $50 card to go shopping at the Italian Centre right before Christmas!
This contest is open to Alberta residents only, since I want someone to be able to use these cards!

I love the Italian Centre deli too – especially the cheese!
So happy The Italian Centre will have a 3rd location soon. Now there will never be a reason not to stop in when in the city.
$50 would buy a lot of potato bread. YUM.
