Yopa - the newest Greek Yogurt delight

Celebrating everyday moments is something that Mike and I have been working harder on together. We are a busy, busy couple and time is so very precious to us with all our endeavours, my travelling so much lately and the kids being so busy themselves lately. When the opportunity came up to pair with Yopa! the newest Greek Yogurt delight out on the market, I signed up right away. The challenge for me was to write a post about everyday moments, which is a good kick in the butt and inspiration for a post.

It might seem odd to say that Mike and I are “working” on celebrating the everyday moments, but I think if you translate that into the old expression “slow down and smell the roses” you’ll see what I mean.

Sometimes when you are busy you have to cherish the moments you get between piano lessons, work, travel and more, and realize that these are the moments that count in life.

One of those such moments was playing Barbies with my daughter before bedtime. We had put a crazy day in, piano lessons, grocery shopping and we were home late. Bedtime snack was eaten upstairs (I can hear my mom lecturing about food on the carpet already) and I snuck in some Mom and daughter playtime.

We eat a lot of Greek yogurt in this house, so trying out the Yopa ones wasn’t a hardship. Yogurt and a bowl of fruit before bedtime happens about 3 times a week, it’s simple, it’s healthy and most of all it’s fast for us to make at the end of the day. It also fools the kids into thinking they are having a “treat” at the end of the day. We tried the Pina Colada to rave reviews, but the Oh-La-La Strawberry cheesecake is calling my name as well.

But while playing Barbies with her I realized it was the perfect moment for the post I had to do. I yelled for Mike to grab my camera, clicked a few shots and continued along our Barbie picnic ways.

This kid. Getting too big too fast. One day I’m going to look back at these pictures and wish we could play Barbies again. Most likely when she’s out on a date and I’m pacing the floor waiting for her to get home.

So now it’s time for some cheerier news! I have a fabulous giveaway for you all so head on over to enter! It’s a $100 prize pack from Yopa!

I wish I could win it. We kinda love our Greek yogurt in this house.

Go and enter and good luck everyone!

Love,

Karlynn
